- Time (Northern Hemisphere): 4 am – 9 pm, June – September
- Time (Northern Hemisphere): 4 am – 9 pm, December-March
- Size: Large
- Price: 15,000 Bells
Once you have ensured that you meet the above conditions, you can start venturing out on your hunt for the Dorado. First of all, you need to go to the river on your island and start looking for large shadows of fishes. Once you find a large shadow, you should ensure that you line up with it properly and throw your fishing line in the proper direction. When the fish catches the fishing hook, you will hear a sound, and you need to quickly press the button to take it out. Make sure you do it quickly; else, the fish will run away.
